What we collect

When you complete the enquiry form on this website, we collect:

Your name
Your email address
Your phone number
Your postcode and property details, including your address
Any additional information you choose to include in your message

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit the site, including your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you visit and how you arrived at the site. This is gathered through Google Analytics and the analytics built into our website platform.

Why we use it

We use your enquiry information to respond to you, provide a quote, arrange and manage your cleaning service, and keep in contact about the service we provide.

Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests — responding to an enquiry you have made and running our business — and, once you become a client, performance of a contract.

We use analytics data to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Our lawful basis for this is consent, which you give through the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.

We will not use your details for marketing unless you have separately agreed to it.

Sharing your information with cleaners

The cleaners who work in your home are self-employed and operate as independent businesses. To arrange your service, we pass them the information they need to carry out the visit — your name, address, contact details, and any access arrangements or preferences you have told us about.

Once we share this information, each cleaner is responsible for the personal data they hold about you in their own right, and for handling it in line with UK data protection law. If you want to know how an individual cleaner handles your information, you can ask us and we will put you in touch.

Other third parties

We use service providers who process data on our behalf, including our website platform, our email provider, and Google Analytics. These providers process data under contract and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Some of these providers may transfer data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for 12 months and then deleted.

Client records are kept for the duration of the service and for 6 years afterwards, in line with our accounting and legal obligations.

Analytics data is retained according to the settings in Google Analytics, currently 14 months.

This website uses cookies. Some are necessary for the site to function; others are used for analytics. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, and change your choice at any time through your browser settings.
